History
In 1979
the Fuzhou Wood-Based Panel Factory was established as a joint venture between the former Ministry of Forestry and Fujian Province. It is a large-scale, state-owned enterprise specializing in the research, development, production, and sales of wood-based panels and their further processed products, as well as the cultivation of industrial raw material forests.
In 1983
the Fuzhou Wood-Based Panel Factory successfully completed its trial run, marking the beginning of a promising future for China's medium-density fiberboard industry.
In 1987
a national leader inscribed the inscription, "Strengthen the comprehensive utilization of resources and vigorously develop the wood-based panel industry," in recognition of the Fuzhou Wood-Based Panel Factory.
In 1993
the Fuzhou Wood-Based Panel Factory was imported from Germany. The first continuous flatbed medium-density fiberboard production line, representing the internationally advanced level of the 1990s, was introduced.
In 1996
a national leader inscribed "The Light of Forest Products" in praise of the Fuzhou Wood-Based Panel Factory.
In 2002
the Fuzhou Wood-Based Panel Factory was restructured and renamed Fujian Furen Wood Industry Co., Ltd.
In 2006
the Furen high-quality particleboard continuous flatbed pressing production line was put into operation.
In 2014
the Fujian Furen Forestry Storage Center, a provincial-level forest rights transfer platform, was established.
In 2017
China's first Furen Bamboo Fragrance Board continuous flatbed pressing production line was put into operation.
In 2018
the Furen Home Decorative Panel Project, based on "European R&D, Furen Manufacturing, and a global market positioning," was completed and put into production. Based on the "fashionable design" and in line with European trends, the Furen Home Decorative Panel Project was completed and put into production.
In 2019
Furen Group received the Outstanding Contribution Award and Innovation Award for the 30th Anniversary of China's Forest Products Industry, marking the implementation of the innovative S2B2C model for the forestry industry's internet supply chain.
In 2023
the Furen Fragrance Board project was launched.
